Our Priorities

Mission

Our mission is to expand the charitable and educational programs of organizations with similar service goals to our own…organizations that want to see more youth pursue higher education, families strengthened, greater access to opportunities for the underserved and our communities safer. We work to improve the lives of those we serve.

Vision

Our vision is to support charitable activities primarily in the areas of education, economic empowerment, cultural awareness, physical and mental health, and international philanthropy. We will use our resources and relationship capital to inspire, encourage, and impact.

Goal

Our goals are simple. Procure resources. Identify strategic partners. Collaborate. Change lives for the better. Repeat.

Our Programs

The Violet Foundation is proud of the various causes and programs it has supported throughout the years and its current collaborations. If you have a cause, program, organization you would like the Violet Foundation to consider for support, please reach out to us through our contact form. With so many worthy causes in our communities, we cannot work with every organization, however if your cause or organization is chosen, we will be in contact to explore opportunities for working together.
Foster The Dream

Foster The Dream

The Violet Foundation has established an initiative focused on foster youth, in particular, those transitioning out of the foster care system and those pursuing higher education. Toward that end, the foundation seeks to partner with key organizations that share our mission to support and advocate for this vulnerable segment of our population.

Holiday Homeless Project

Holiday Homeless Project

My Brother’s Keeper is an organization dedicated to providing holiday gifts at Christmas to women, men, and children who are homeless. During the fall, collection of funds, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, sweatshirts, and non-perishable food is collected from individuals in the community. Items are packaged and distributed December 22 through the 24th.

Amazon Smile

Amazon Smile

The Violet Foundation has partnered with the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon. Through Amazon Smile, Amazon’s program benefitting charitable organizations and causes, customers can easily support organizations like ours. Log in at www.amazon.smile.com/ to get started. You will be prompted to select a charity and there, select VIOLET FOUNDATION. Items eligible for donation will be marked on product pages and .5% of your eligible purchases will be donated to the Violet Foundation.

Scholarships

Scholarships

The Violet Foundation contributes funds to multiple scholarships to support high school students and women pursuing advanced degrees. Support from the Violet Foundation allows more students to receive scholarships and in many cases a larger award. This can mean the difference between staying in school and suspending educational pursuits due to unmet college costs. Your financial contributions enable us to continue sending and to keep deserving students in school.
